Systematic Learning vs Creative Flow

One may immediately object to what I write here with observations such as:

1. You cannot teach creativity;
2. Formalism gets in the way of creativity.

There is a truth in all of these. But these misunderstand my points and motivation. I will summarise my motivation as follows:

1. I aim to systematically remove anything that gets in the way of creative flow.
2. Creativity is at its best when it is unimpeded.
3. Lack of technical skills impedes creativity in various ways: if you can imagine the synthesiser sound you want, perhaps recall it from a tune, but don't know how to make it, or find it, and use it, then that imagined sound has no path to being realised. Creativity is all about turning your imagination into reality. But to turn your imagination into reality, you need to develop the means to do so.
