This is a bunch of notes I typed out while watching the video, mostly following the order of the video.

Preset: Alaska

• Recreation of UK Album sound done with CS80
• Uses time device to simulate a chorus

Preset: Rusted Strike

• Audio rate modulation is clean

Preset: Fog World

• Using all three oscillators to make seventh chord sound

Preset: My Throat An Open Grave

• Way you can modulate amount
• LFO B freely drawn, modulating mod osc amt, moding filt fm

Preset: One Spark Among The Embers

• Like CS70M
• Uses ringmod and hp filter

Preset: Dub Station Two

• Bell like, a little out of tune
• Giant space
• Uses FM
• FM is controlled by mod osc as compared to typical modular carrier relationship: mod osc is modulator, so kind of like 3 op FM.
• Some basic FM like already built into osc via waveshape
• Everything has xy pads, including the oscillators and filters

Preset: Forlorn Evantis

• Bass is incredible, using filter b to get a bit of bass boost
• Most plugins struggle in the filter section, many synths cut corners modelling filters
• Can pull off stuff most synths can't: legendary synth test, training day test and deep space 9 test
• Hard to be easy to use and deep for advanced sound designers.
• Can init and use it like a minimoog.

Preset: Stickerbush Serenade

• Uses generative arp
• One decay mod'd by lfo (env a dec mod by lfo)

Preset: View From Callisto

• Classic Jun60 pad
• No reverb, just a little colour

Preset: Aralon Falls

• Uses Filter FM a lot. Omnisphere doesn't have Filter FM.
• No menu diving.
• There is a light mode.

Preset: Blood Money and Gin

• A lot happening with just a few oscillators.
• Modulation: filters mod by env b,
• osc b waveshape mod, giving pwm
• other sounds, interesting stuff coming from noise and other osc
• colour crossover freq mod by lfo b to create a phaser

Preset: Ganymede Windchimes

• envs are loopable. keytracked.
• negative keytracking on lfo freq
