Notes on ReOrder's Youtube Videos
Reorder has a number of youtube videos. Here are a few notes I made from them.
JP8000 Style Supersaw Pad and Lead, and Trance Bass
These videos go together.
Trance Saw Pad
Source: How To Make Trance Saw Pad like...
Use the Digital Oscillator.
HPF pre slightly up.
Cascade filter. (This emulates e.g. Jupiter.)
Cut 35%, res slight.
Env's digital.
Env1: amp env
Env2: cut env
Env1: a 25%, d 20%, s full, r 45%
Env2: a 10%, d 55%, s 15%, r 75%
This gives slight attack to sound.
Then use e.g. modwh or automation to open filter on longer sustains.
Stack Index→Pad makes sound more stereo.
Accuracy fast, offline acc best.
